Fabulous share. I’ve been a full time writer for about two decades and it is a constantly changing career ... sometimes the writing that pays the bills begins to get too routine and formulaic ... I know I need to change it up again when I begin to feel like I am not actually connecting with others or even myself. 💫❤️ in the recent conversations people seem to be having everywhere about Chatgpt taking over freelance jobs, I found myself saying “thank god for that because now I can stop writing articles for algorithms and write real stuff again ...” of course I always could but I need periodic reminders as things ebb and flow. Happy to be back in a time of digging deep and finding a great community here on Substack that fosters that sense of connection you describe.
I'm the exact same about Chat GTP – please oh please give it the blogs haha. Thanks for your thoughts Kathryn and let's create the next wave of deep thinking on here. We got this! x
Writing 500 word articles with the right keyword phrase in the title, first paragraph and subheadings paid my bills for a long time and for a while was a fun way to learn a little about a lot of things ... but I have been starving to move beyond that more and more. I’ve always also done other writing but it’s a process 🤣❤️💫 let’s do this!!!
